A solar project should begin with its purpose and the property's energy data, not an arbitrary panel count. A quotation should identify the inverter, mounting system, DC and AC cabling, connectors, isolation and protection, earthing, monitoring, and any distribution-board work. A battery proposal also needs compatible equipment, usable capacity, installation conditions and a clear operating strategy. Compare exact equipment models, quantities, layout, protection, delivery, installation, commissioning, documents and exclusions. A production estimate should disclose its input data and assumptions about shading and system losses. It is a forecast, not a guaranteed yield or payback period.
At handover, retain layouts and electrical diagrams, model and serial details, test records, shutdown instructions, monitoring access, warranty terms and the service contact.
