Choose the loading method
A flatbed winches the vehicle onto a carrying deck. Wheel dollies may be required when wheels cannot roll; crane recovery may be needed when winching is not possible. These are materially different jobs, so describe the damage accurately before accepting a quotation.

Protect the vehicle at handover
Remove valuables and photograph the exterior before loading. Follow the operator’s directions for keys, parking brake and transmission position rather than attempting to move a damaged vehicle yourself. Once loaded, the vehicle should be secured to the carrier and not rely solely on the winch cable.
