we sew exclusively from organic 100% pure linen fabric.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Linen is the most ecologically clean fabric offered to people by the textile industry. In ancient times, the price of linen was equal to the value of gold, and today high-quality natural linen is accessible to almost everyone. Linen is an exclusively plant-based fabric made from plants belonging to the flax family. The cultivation of the plant does not require additional fertilizers or large amounts of water, which ensures minimal consumption of natural resources. When linen items are no longer suitable for use, they biodegrade very quickly, dissolving into the soil along with nature, and do not turn into waste. By purchasing fabrics made from linen, you will indirectly contribute to the conservation of our planet's resources and reduced environmental pollution.

PRODUCTION PROCESS

The linen harvest takes place at the end of summer. The harvested plant is left in the fields for 3-4 weeks under rain and sun, thus subjecting the linen to natural processing. Specialists then select and separate the longest stalks and subject them to various industrial technological treatments. Fibers of different thicknesses are obtained, and then fabrics are woven from these threads on special weaving looms.

SOFTENING

All fabrics presented by us are very soft and not rough, as they have been softened under industrial conditions. First, the fabric is softened mechanically by passing it through the rollers of a softening machine. Then, to achieve the best result, the fabric is washed in solutions enriched with organic enzymes — this technology is called enzyme washing or stone washing — after which the linen becomes soft, lightweight, and pleasant for the body. While sleeping in a bed sewn from linen fabric, your body will undergo natural massage and micro-peeling, thanks to the natural micro-depressions present on the surface of the linen.

DYEING

Before solid-color dyeing, the fabric undergoes mandatory bleaching. The dyeing technology is called reactive, during which the dye molecules penetrate deeply into the fiber structure, resulting in a smooth, uniform surface. Environmentally high-quality dyes intended for textiles are used, thanks to which the fabric does not fade when washed or dried in the sun. It is completely safe for both children and adults, and is also safe for people prone to allergies.

ADVANTAGES

Linen fiber contains a special substance — silicon or silicon dioxide — which is a natural antiseptic. Linen has antibacterial and wound-healing effects. Linen is a hypoallergenic fabric that can be safely recommended to people suffering from bronchial asthma. While sleeping in a bed sewn from linen, small blisters or wounds on the body will heal faster, thanks to its antiseptic properties; linen is absolutely hypoallergenic. Linen has thermal insulating properties — it can keep you warm in the cold and cool the skin in the heat. When wearing clothes made from linen, the skin surface temperature in hot weather is 3-4 degrees lower than the body temperature of a person wearing clothes made from other fabrics. It is breathable, has hygroscopic properties, and absorbs moisture well (up to 20% of its own weight), so you will not feel dampness even if you perspire in summer. Linen is also able to reflect harmful ultraviolet radiation, improve blood circulation, and reduce body fatigue. Thus, linen fabric becomes almost indispensable in the production of clothing and bedding.

It has dirt-repelling properties: since it does not become electrostatically charged, dust and other particles do not cling to it. Linen becomes softer with each wash. This is one of those types of fabric that is used from generation to generation.

The bedding is lovingly sewn by professional tailors with double, clean, and straight seams designed for linen, ensuring durability and wear resistance. The seams are concealed, which eliminates friction against the seams — you feel only the soft bedding.
