GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Stripe satin is the name of the fabric, which comes from the English word "stripes", meaning "bands" or "stripes".
It is a cotton fabric with a satin weave structure, made using thin and long, double-twisted cotton threads, where several horizontal fibers are woven with one vertical fiber, forming a fabric with a soft surface. It differs from classic cotton fabrics that are woven in the traditional "over one, under one" pattern. The thinner the thread, the closer the weaving threads are to each other, and the more threads there are. Therefore, Stripe satin is stronger and more durable due to its special weave and fabric processing. Stripe satin has a right side and a wrong side.

DYEING

Before solid dyeing, the fabric undergoes mandatory bleaching, then it is treated with an ALKALINE solution — this process is called mercerization, which gives the fabric additional strength and a rich sheen. The fabric dyeing process is carried out with the help of special machines. The dyeing technology is called reactive, during which dye molecules penetrate deeply into the fiber structure, resulting in a smooth, solid-colored surface. High-quality, ecologically superior dyes intended for textiles are used, thanks to which the fabric does not fade when washed or dried in the sun. It is completely safe for both children and adults, and is also safe for people prone to allergies.

ADVANTAGES

Thanks to pure cotton threads, Satin does not pill. It is breathable, has hygroscopic properties, absorbs moisture well (up to 20% of its weight), so you will not feel dampness even if you perspire in summer. Due to its natural composition, the fabric does not accumulate static electricity and does not become electrically charged.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Wash inside out at 40 degrees, with non-chlorine-containing products, do not wring strongly. Iron inside out. After the first wash the fabric shrinks, which our specialist takes into account when taking the order.
